“Totally at ease on stage and a great performer, Jamie's live performance is an entertaining master-class at its finest”
- Dublin Concerts
Jamie Duff is a folk singer with a twist, using drums and electric guitars to give a rustic edge to his unique take on the folk genre. Through years of gigging, Jamie has managed to create a sound that is both light hearted and energetic.
With his upcoming, self-titled debut EP (released 22 May 2015), Jamie makes his stand as a force to be reckoned with. Engineered & Produced by Michael Heffernan at Sun Studios, this EP perfectly encapsulates the powerful, original and energetic folk/rock sound that Jamie is known for.
This energy and power is best presented by his lead single ‘Shirts and Ties’.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes, Jake Bugg, Hudson Taylor, Tallest Man on Earth and The Frames, Jamie has crafted his sound and live performance through countless live performances. The last couple of years have seen him support and collaborate with artists on stages in Ireland, the UK and Australia, including London’s O2 Arena, LG Arena Birmingham, Echo Arena Liverpool, Dublin’s Whelans, The Academy, and The Sugar Club, as well as Australia’s Etihad Stadium.
